I enable New Zealand companies to unlock their full growth potential in overseas markets, with a focus on China and the USA. As the Facteon Group Managing Director, I lead my team to explore customer needs to in turn co-create solutions that will transform their current factories into intelligent manufacturing centers of excellence, embracing Industry 4.0 in all its forms. In previous private and public sector roles my passion has consistently been to bridge the gap. That gap could be a gap of understanding between parties, or a gap of unmet demands and expectations. Only by deeply exploring the latent needs and desires of all related parties, establishing trust and empathy along the way, can a true flourishing solution be created that is uniquely fit for purpose over the long term. Having been a business owner and team leader, successfully guiding the business through the stages of struggling start-up through to successful multi-country internationalization, and eventual high-value acquisition, means I know what’s required to have real skin in the game. It also means I have great understanding and compassion for those undertaking a similar journey. I welcome all queries on business acceleration and internationalization.
